Minor ailments, treated at the counter
Ontario pharmacists can assess and prescribe for these 28 conditions, including nine added in July 2026. Bring your health card, walk in to any of our four stores, and you'll usually leave with treatment in the same visit. There's no charge for the assessment with a valid OHIP card.

How it works
- Tell us what's bothering you. We'll ask a few questions in a private room.
- The pharmacist decides whether it's something we can treat or something that needs a doctor.
- If we can treat it, you get a prescription on the spot and we fill it right away.
What to bring
- Your Ontario health card
- A list of medications you take, if we don't already have it
- For children, a parent or guardian

Call your closest store and describe the symptoms. We'll tell you whether to come in or see a doctor, and we'll never charge to say no.
